My Story

Luxury Slow Fashion, the Hawkesbury way
1930s Newspaper Ad featuring Vanderplanks of Cheltenham

The Past

My Great Grandfather owned a luxury fashion shop in the heart of Cheltenham during the early 1900s. He and his sister were apprenticed at Harrods in London as teenagers, learning the fine art of millinery and dressmaking. Using their knowledge and innate sense of style, they provided the ladies of Cheltenham with the latest fashion and bespoke designs for decades

The Present

Following in my family's fashion footsteps, I taught myself to knit in my late 20s. Loving the creative freedom that it gave me in designing my own items, I committed to sharing this passion with the world. Opening my studio in the heart of Hampshire is the first step to following my family's heritage. I design luxury, handmade slow fashion which become much loved staples of a beautiful style conscious wardrobe.
